For the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year, Raiders Rojos awarded a Record 30 Scholarships, totaling $60,000, to current students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at Texas Tech University.

2026 was a banner year and is continued proof of just how far our reach and support have come - compared to our first year, when we awarded 3 Scholarships totaling $1500 in 2000.

The Raiders Rojos Scholarship Program has awarded well over $650,000 dollars to Texas Tech students since 2000, and is one of the most active Alumni Associations at Texas Tech with regard to scholarships awarded over the last 20+ years.

Each scholarship awarded is intended to serve as a retention scholarship for the university and is only awarded to students who have completed at least one year at Texas Tech.

While scholarship sponsors include individuals and businesses, most donors are alumni and their families, and many sponsors have been providing scholarships for over twenty years.
