Distinguished Alumni Family Award

Since 2006, Raiders Rojos has recognized the accomplishments of alumni families with honorees being required to have at least two generations of Texas Tech graduates, with some of the most recent families now boasting three. Honorees are also selected based on the family’s contributions towards promoting higher education in their communities. For the honor, nominations are solicited each spring, and recipients are recognized with a bronze paver (pictured below) placed in the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center courtyard.
